Next dinner meeting will be Thursday September 11 at the Pearisburg Community Center.

Our guest speakers will be Lions Nelson Leftwich and Jennifer Persinger from the Bedford Host Club.

On October 17 and 18 our Fall Conference will be taking place in Roanoke. Members interested in attending need to see Lion Sec. Al in order to register. Registrations must be in by Sept 30.

There will be a Zone meeting on Wednesday October 22^nd at Friends and Family. Members should plan to attend this important meeting.

Please return all Calendar forms at our September 11^th meeting. This project is one of our best fund raisers. Call Lion Vernon if you have any questions.

Our August 28^th family steak cookout was poorly attended. Only 21 members and some family attending. Lion Fred and his helpers did an outstanding job of preparing 60 steaks with all the fixing’s. Thank you Lions!
