Next dinner meeting will be Thursday August 14 at the Pearisburg Community Center.

At our last membership meeting your club officers were inducted by Lion District Governor Bud Chambless.

Also, several members of the Narrows Lions Club joined us for dinner and fellowship.

Calendar forms must be returned at our August 14^th meeting. Please indicate on your form how many calendars you will need. This project is one of our best fund raisers. Call Lion Vernon if you have any questions.

Our August 28^th meeting will be the annual family steak cookout at the Community Center. Be sure to mark your calendar now.

The 2008-09 roster of directors, members and committee assignments will be distributed at the August 14^th meeting.
